CEOs of some of the largest companies are asking their employees to return back to the office after the Pandemic. Why thou when employees do enjoy working from home. Some large companies with massive layoffs such as Twitter, Meta and Google are ordering working to return back to the office. Even Apple, these seemingly cool companies are no longer the cool place to work.

Some companies have sited reasons for wanting employees to return to the office. These reasons can vary based on the specific policies and needs of the company. Here are a few common ideas around why they want you to return to work:

I know for me, it’s a more nuisance conversation, I have been a part of both worlds. In Office, Fully Remote and Hybrid. I know we have more conversation at the office and more coffee breaks so sometimes you do get less done and then those longer 2-hour lunch meetings. Being in the office is a good place to network and make connections that can advance your career. However, you can’t beat not commuting and having more time for work and napping during the day when you work remotely. There has been yet to be a study that shows employees are less productive with remote work. However, Like most things in life Optics are important.
